{Brittyn Isla} 18 months

Miss Personality turned 18 months recently (well, almost 3 weeks ago).  Brittyn is quite different from Brylee in almost every area. She has been a more challenging child at times (colic when she was a baby, sleeping through the night ....finally at 16 months!, and her constant need to be with someone!). She is a fiesty, free spirited little girl. I melt when I see her and she loves like no other. She is talking a blue streak these days and I remember why I love this age so much.
The other night I was able to quickly jump in the car when Darryl arrived home to capture these images. The light was perfect and the weather was gorgeous. I don't think we will have too many more fall days like these left. We were soaking it up.

{Apple Orchard}

Yesterday we took a drive to a new orchard. It was a beautiful day. The car ride was a bit stressful, as Brittyn hates the car.She has hated the car since the day we brought her home it seems. Screaming fits are quite normal in the car. Anyhoo, we arrived to the orchard and the girls had a lot of fun picking apples. Most of the apples actually weren't ready to be picked, but there was one variety we were able to pick. Brittie loves being outside. Fall represents a season of change, and looking back on last year's trip it has never been so evident. Our girls are growing up, so quickly. I need to remind myself to stop, savor, and enjoy!
