It also looks like the weather will be nice in Chicago this weekend, which is awesome because that is where I am headed with my friends Erin S. and Laura for a fun filled girls weekend. I fly out on Friday and am super excited!
There isn't a whole lot of news to report. As most of you saw from my facebook and Darryl's facebook posts over the last week and a half, Brylee broker her right arm almost 2 weeks ago now (on Wednesday). She fell off Darryl's back while riding around. The fall wasn't bad, but her scream and reaction was bad! Darryl ended up taking her to urgent care that night (with my strong urging). They x-rayed it and said it wasn't broken. I stayed home with her the next day and she wouldn't move it, and that continued on Friday. Friday afternoon we received a call from the dr. that they wanted us to come back in. After reviewing the x-ray they said that she did indeed have a break. Darryl took her back in and they put on a splint and gave her a sling. We were told to make an appt. with an orthopedic dr. as her break is near the growth plate (elbow) in the arm, so it needs to be treated correctly. Last Wednesday, Darryl took her and they put a pretty pink cast {per Brylee's request} on and it will stay on until May 3rd. So, that is about the extent of our excitement lately.
We are hoping we can get outside soon to get some fresh air and real vitamin D!
