I finally had the motivation today to edit our Christmas pictures. We had a low key Christmas, spending Christmas eve with Darryl's side of the family and Christmas Day with my side. Our girls were blessed with tons of new toys, dolls, etc. Santa brought a train table and so the girls have been busy playing with that. We bought Brylee the American Girl doll as she has wanted the "Julie" doll for the last 2 months. She liked it for the first 5 minutes after opening and then didn't touch it all of Christmas day. We had a heart to heart with her Christmas night when we got home and apparently in her 4 year old mind, Julie was not as she had thought/wanted. So, back to the store we went on Saturday and we exchanged her for a bitty baby. Brylee is now very happy! I am sure someday we will look back and laugh. I think Darryl was the most disappointed as he was so excited to give it to her.
Brylee even went out ice skating on Saturday after a birthday party as my parents bought her ice skates. She did well according to Darryl and wants to go again. She is a bit of a perfectionist so you never know how new adventures will be.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.
Darryl and Brylee are fighting off a little bug, so no big plans to ring in the new year.
Happy 2014!
Here is our Christmas in pictures...
