Anyhoo....on to our recap from our NYC trip.
To summarize...it was an awesome, exciting, and a painful on the feet kind of adventure.
The city has its own soundtrack....car horns beeping, people shuffling around everywhere, and sort of magical chaos. One could people watch all day long and never get bored!
Some of the highlights from our trip were of course WICKED (awesome and highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it), Grand Central Station (so awesome to see, but I wouldn't want to travel through it everyday), Central Park (so freakin' big...we walked maybe 2/3 of it, and it is probably about 6-7 miles), awesome dining (local places on every street that you just don't find anywhere), shopping (of course!), and Rockefeller plaza and Times Square. The visibility was 0, so we were not able to view the Empire State building, however that did not stop them from selling people tickets of $30/person to view it. Crazy!
I am so glad we had the opportunity to go to NYC. Another place checked off the bucket list. Thanks again to my parents for watching Brylee while we were gone. NYC is definitely not the place to take your toddler!
Here are some of my favorite pics from the trip.
