Easter is on it's way...so of course a visit with the Easter Bunny was in order today.
I worked a half day today as we had conferences last night till 8:00. So, after work I headed to my parent's house to pick up Brylee, and then G'ma {Nancy}, Great G'ma {Joyce}, Brylee and I all headed to Gerten's {a greenhouse in Inver Grove Heights}. There was a little petting zoo with chicks, ducks, a lamb, a llama, and baby bunnies. Brylee loved petting the bunnies and chicks and then we headed over to see the Easter Bunny. Brylee was scared of him and kept saying "no, mommy I stay here", but we eventually were able to coax and bribe her that the bunny was nice and that he had candy. As we walked past the Easter Bunny she said "bunny have shoes"! She doesn't miss a thing!
Tonight or tomorrow sometime we are going to dye eggs. Brylee and G'ma made gluten free Easter cookies this morning and ate some too. She is very excited for the Easter Bunny to come on Sunday, so I will post more pictures then.
Until then...here are a few from this afternoon!
Happy Good Friday, Earth Day, and Happy Birthday to Reda/Nana today!
