Yesterday, Brylee and I spent the day with my Aunt Sharon and Cousin Amy. They drove up from IA and arrived around 9:30. We left at 10 AM beginning our long shopping day. First, we hit up the General Store in Minnetonka, then headed up to Maple Grove {the meca of shopping!} and had lunch and shopped a lot more, then on the way home stopped in Edina on 50th and France...which was apparently ladies night out...so there was more freebies and more people! We decided to end the day at Ring Mountain ice cream in Eagan. We enjoyed some well deserved gelatto...Brylee LOVED it {as I knew she would!}. She was such a good baby. She was in and out of the car, stroller, stores, etc and squeezed in one 30 minute nap {average nap= 2-2.5 hours}in the car. Needless to say mama and baby were TIRED when we got home around 7:30. We had a great time with the IA ladies and will have to do it again, next time maybe without little B {as mommy would like to relax!}.
Tomorrow evening Darryl's parents are arriving in MN, so we are anxiously awaiting their arrival. I think Brylee and I are going to attend the Leprechaun days {Rosemount's annual shin dig} parade tomorrow morning and meet up with my friend John and his 2 boys {and another on the way!}.
Unfortunately, Darryl has to work as it is the last day of the month...ugh. Hopefully he will just work a 1/2 day.
