{Bushard Reunion}

Yesterday we headed to Gibbon, Mn for the biennial Bushard Reunion. The girls LOVED running around on the farm and playing with their cousins! They were exhausted when we got home, and Brittyn conked out in the car. The girls' favorite things were the tire swing and swing set!

We are trying to soak up every last minute of summer. Today, we went to the pool. Sometime this week or next {depending on our schedules} we will head to the great Minnesota Get Together {a.k.a the Minnesota State Fair}. It is supposed to feel like summer again with temps back in the 90s.
It is my last week off for the summer. I am ready to go back in some ways, and also trying to soak up these last precious days!

On Sunday we took the girls to the beach. We like to go to Lake Marion in Lakeville. I haven't taken the girls all summer because it is really a job for two when you have a busy 16 month old. However, the girls did great. Brylee is really starting to enjoy the water and Brittyn is always right at home whenever she is outside. She didn't quite know what to think when her toes hit the sand, but quickly became right at ease.
Next summer we will be going to the beach a lot more often!
Enjoying the last beautiful days of summer. This is my last full week off. The summer seems to slip by oh so quickly, but summer days are always the best!
