Final day of summer....

A gorgeous day yesterday was the perfect way to end my summer break and maternity leave. We went to the park for a picnic and to hang out in the afternoon. A perfect laid back day.
I can't believe how fast 5 months has flown by and that now I am back to work. It was great to be home so long {as I know most people don't get that long}, but I am also looking forward to settling back into a routine again.
Another summer has come and gone, and another school year is on the horizon. Every new school year makes me anxious, but in a good way. I am excited to be a part of an amazing school district and lucky to have such great co-workers and a team...which softens the blow of having to gear up for another school year!
We are looking foward to Brylee starting preschool in a few weeks {more about our grown-up little girl for a later post) and her starting a new daycare and making new friends. I am so excited for her and I know she is too...as she has been wearing her new Cinderella back pack {pack pack as she calls it} the last few days around the house. We also know Brittyn will be smothered with love by Mary. We always use to joke that Brylee smelled like Mary when we would pick her up! So, I know Brittyn will too...proof of all that baby lovin!

Of course some pics of our "final" summer day {according to my schedule}...
Brittyn monopolized the pics this time, as Brylee was busy with daddy catching sharks and finding princesses at the park. Her imaginiation runs wild...
So, Brittyn and I sat on a blanket in the shade nearby and watched and I took pics!

Have a great week everyone!

 {love this one...makes my heart melt!}

{Baptism}

This past Sunday we celebrated Brittyn's baptism. Brittyn was good {didn't cry} and was a trooper the whole day as after church we went back to my parent's house. We had lots of yummy food and great family time with both of our sides of the family. The weather was perfect and the girls enjoyed playing outside and admiring my dad's perfectly kept lawn and exploring by the fountain in the backyard.
