Brittyn survived her first "official" holiday...Easter. She was a trooper eventhough she had some fussy times during the morning. Both girls were great in church. Brittyn slept the whole time in her car seat and Brylee sat between Dappa and G'ma. I told her the Easter Bunny would take back her microwave if she wasn't good...apparently my threat worked! :)
Brylee loved finding her basket at home and both sets of grandparents. We went to 9 am church with my family and headed back to my parents for some tasty brunch. We came home for naps in between and then headed up to St. Michael to celebrate Easter with Darryl's parents and his family in the evening. It was a very busy day as we got home around 9, but the girls did well and I know Brylee had a great day.
Time has flown by and I can't believe Brittyn is now 3 weeks old. We are all adjusting to life as a family of 4 and finding our groove. I wish the weather would warm up (like it was in march) so we can enjoy some more outside time. It has been so windy lately that we can't really go outside. I know Brylee is sick of being cooped up and frankly I am too!
I hope everyone has a great week! Happy belated Easter!
Last Friday we ventured to Gerten's nursery with g'ma Nancy to visit the Easter Bunny. Brittyn slept through the fun once again. Brylee was a little hesitant to walk up the Easter Bunny at first, but then we she saw him handing out candy she was smitten!

On Saturday it rained most of the day. So we ventured out in our raincoat and boots late afternoon to get the mail and get a little fresh air.
Easter Morning Brylee was excited to see the Easter Bunny had come!
The Easter Bunny even brought Brittyn a basket of toys to use in the future.
