Princess

This past Thursday Brylee made the transition from her crib to her big girl bed. I bought her a princess bed and she was very excited to sleep in it. She has done well sleeping in it. We haven't had any issues with her getting out of bed on her own. She is such a big girl now....potty trained, sleeping in a big girl bed, and ready to be a big sister!
This morning she wanted to wear her princess dress....just a ruffly dress that I had bought her and so she wore that over to G'ma and Dappa's for lunch. Apparently that is a special enough occasion to get all dolled up.
Things are going well. I am now 32 weeks, and so we are anxiously awaiting baby girl's arrival and getting ready. Yesterday my best friend Erin and I took a photo class about photographing kids at the minneapolis photo center. It was a lot of fun and great to catch up with Erin since she was in town.

One Last Christmas celebration

Last Sunday we headed down to Ankeny, IA for our final Christmas Celebration. It was postponed due to the flu {which we were thankful for the postponement!}. The kids had fun playing together and the adults had fun catching up and enjoying some delicious food! Christmas celebrations are now officially over...boo!

That's all for now folks. I am at home today tending to a sick toddler. She is feeling better in comparison to yesterday {which Darryl had the thrill of staying home with crabby 2 yr. old}. Unfortunately, she shared her nasty cold with me....fun, fun! I guess winter bugs are back!
