Saturday Snap-shots

Nothing too exciting to report. Brylee and I headed to the mall this morning to do some "sopping"...Brylee's word for shopping! I got Brylee two pairs of flip-flops...yes, we are ready for spring, now if only it would come! We also got a few other outfits and I got a cute spring dress. This afternoon when Brylee wakes up we are going to head to Edina, to Edinborough (an indoor play park) and then out to dinner.

getting excited for Elmo!!

Yes, it is true. This afternoon Brylee, Darryl, and I are heading off to the Target Center for a 2:00 show of Sesame Street live!! Brylee's first "official" show!! She was excited to wear her Elmo shirt, as we bought it last weekend at the Children's museum, and she has been wanting to wear it all week. So, today she was more than excited when she got to wear her Elmo!!


On a random, complaining note....I am soooo done with WINTER! You see yesterday morning as I drove to work the  bank said -16 degrees! Yes, I know this shouldn't surprise me anymore after living in MN for a good chunk of my life, but every year I dread and complain and complain and complain about this frigid no good weather!! It gets me down! I always tell Darryl I have S.A.D. {which btw is an official diagnois of Seasonal Affective Disorder}, who knows maybe I DO! I do take Vitamin D every day to help with this lack of sunlight enjoyment! 


On another random note...as I am typing this I am watching the VH1 top 20 countdown. I am a nerd and record it, so I can flip through all the commercials later! However, I am LOVING the song "marry me" by Train. I love that band. Another favorite song of mine is one of theirs called "I'm about to come alive". Never was one of their singles, but definitely one of my favorite songs ever!! Since we {I} are on the subject of music, I am also LOVING Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum's new CD's. I LOVE country music. I get made fun of a lot for that, but let's just say I think it is the best music out there. The music actually has substance and meaning and not just stupid hooks, crazy vocals, and beats. Don't get me wrong I love me some pop music {I dare say that I do enjoy Brittany Spears' new song}, but I just have a special liking for country music.


Ok, I think my randomness is done for now.
